In the latest report from market research firm iRobot, skateboard sales jumped 4.7% in the fourth quarter, compared to a year ago.
iRobo found that the number of skateboards sold in Los Angles grew 4.5% from the fourth to the first quarter of 2019.
The growth in skateboard usage has been a steady and consistent trend for many years now.
A quick look at the top 20 skateboard brands shows that there are plenty of big name brands in the skateboarding industry that have been successful for years.
There are many more that are still being created by smaller companies and companies that don’t quite reach the level of the big name skateboard companies.
The most notable brands in this new wave include Hulman, A-Frame, Hooligans, and Fyndy.
